Album Review

Recorded in February 1990 in Santa Barbara, CA, this surbahar and sitar recital takes its name from Ajmer, Holy Ajmer, the location of the dargah (shrine) of the great Sufi saint, Hazrat Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti. A superb insight into the creative process. "Raga Alhaiya Bilaval" and his own "Imratkauns" are the featured repertoire.
