From the heart of Brazil comes this all-star group led by percussionist Teo Lima. A selection of instrumental and vocal music radiates with the diverse rhythms of the Brazilian people. Appearances by Dionne Warwick, Ivan Lins, Gilberto Gil, Sivuca, Ernie Watts and violinist Jerry Goodman help to showcase the various styles, such as samba, jongo, maracatu, ciranda and two songs of African rhythmic origins.
