Album Review

At ten tracks, Rhino's Must of Got Lost isn't definitive but it does provide a low-priced, high-energy introduction to one of the greatest rock & roll bands of all time. The J. Geils Band took the best of blues, soul and rock and whipped it into a frothy brew guaranteed to throw any party into high gear. All of the songs here are classic Geils and therefore classic Classic Rock. Seven of the ten songs on the collection come from studio albums recorded for Atlantic between 1971 and 1977, the other three come from the incendiary live albums, 72's Full House and 76's Blow Your Face Out. Included are classic rockers like "Looking for a Love," "Must of Got Lost," "Give It to Me" and the live "Houseparty" and "Whammer Jammer." If you have the funds, you may want to just skip this disc and head to the two-CD Houseparty: Anthology. [Must of Got Lost was reissued by Collectablesin 2004 with a different cover as Looking for a Love, Rovi
