In the Mood With Vaughn Monroe encompasses several of the bandleader's sweet light pop arrangements of familiar songs, including "There! I've Said It Again," "Ballerina," "Rum and Coca-Cola," and "The Trolley Song." Originally recorded for RCA Records in the '60s, these ten tracks are far from a perfect Vaughn Monroe retrospective, but this CD is still a nice sampler of familiar items at a budget price.
