With her sensual vocals and warm personality, Sammi Cheng has become one of the most successful artists in Hong Kong. A talented actress who has appeared in such Chinese films as Feel 100% and its two sequels, she has found even greater success as a vocalist. The winner of TVB's New Talent Singing Contest in 1988, she received a Best Female Artist award at the Chinese Music Awards a decade later. Recording since 1990, Cheng reached her apex after signing with Warner Music in 1996. Her second album for the label, Feel So Good, included the English-language tune "I Cross My Heart," which she recorded as a duet with American R&B group All-4-One.
