From 1962 through 1965
the Brandywine Singers were one of the hottest acts on the college folk circuit. Then life, the Vietnam War, and other careers intervened.
The Brandywines re-formed in 1992 with original members
Rick and
Ron Shaw and
Les Clark joined by multi-talented multi-instrumentalist
Taylor Whiteside. The result was pure magic, folk music as one remembered it from its popular heyday and still able to send chills up and down one's spine: folk favorites, beautifully sung, played, and arranged, spiced with a couple of originals.
