Formed out of the disbanded '60s band Mountain Bus, Sky Farmer hit the Chicago blues scene and began a streak of live performances in the area. Offering free-form jams, local favorites, and the occasional psychedelic guitar breakdown, the band gained a big following in the area, and eventually released Amazing Grace to an enthusiastic local response during the '70s.
