Once you've been to New York City, you get it. Its been the subject of hundreds of songs. Even Canadians have fallen in love with the big apple.
Great news this week comes from NYC who host this year's Super Bowl. Word is out a song by Mississauga rockers Daylight For Deadeyes will be pumping out of the stadium speakers before and after the game & during time-outs at this week's big game.
They wrote a footstomping, fist-pumpin' anthem called "New York" that was first played at home games in Madison Square Garden and soon could be heard at games in many of the other sports franchises in the city. Kinda cool that a band from Toronto wrote the song for NYC. Check it out.
