What Happened on March 20th, 2009
Hey Army,
Today is the 4 year Anniversary of the Pat O'Brien voicemail message.
How about a trip down memory lane
Tom Sizemore's in trouble again.
Reports are in that the LAPD is investigating Tom for grand theft after he allegedly stole several cell phones as well as -- get this -- a pen and a highlighter from a Verizon Wireless store last week. And it was all caught on video.
His lawyer tells the website that Tom's "innocent until proven guilty."
Velvet Revolver found their man. A singer who they felt was the perfect choice to replace Scott Weiland. But the singer turned down the job... twice! Classic Rock magazine broke the story: Country rock star Shooter Jennings has confirmed that he has been offered the job of singer with Velvet Revolver - but has turned the band down TWICE! Shooter, the son of country legend Waylon Jennings, was one of the men Classic Rock tipped as potential VR singers back in April last year.
Denis Leary is back with a timely new song, "At the Rehab,"
Recorded live with his band The Enablers, Leary calls out by name pop culture icons and their rampant substance abuse to an up-tempo calypso beat. The single will be released on Comedy Central Records digitally on March 24th. The single is digital-only and will be available exclusively through iTunes for the first two weeks.
Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Billy Sheehan will release a new solo effort, Holy Cow!, on April 14.
The U.S. version of the album will include three bonus tracks. Sheehan's third solo CD includes guest performances from ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons.

Next month, the New Jersey Board of Cosmetology will discuss a proposal to ban the popular bare-it-all grooming style.
New Jersey officials say waxing the hair down there has always been illegal. Only the face, neck, abdomen, legs and arms are permitted to be waxed -- but because "Brazilians" weren't specifically banned, state regulators haven't enforced the law.
What started the hub-bub? Apparently two women approached the Cosmetology Board and complained that they suffered from infections following the procedure. And one of them has filed a lawsuit.
Brazilian waxing can be dangerous because the hot wax can irritate or tear delicate skin in the area, resulting in infections, ingrown hairs, and rashes, according to skin care experts.
But that hasn't stopped millions of American women -- and some men -- from having their private hairs ripped away.
Got some time to waste? Why not shock your friend's face to music....
