So there's a new study out that suggests that drivers singing while they drive, don't just suck at it...they suck at driving! According to this Canadian research, singing while driving impairs people’s abilities behind the wheel, increases their perceived mental workload and decreases hazard awareness. They even go as far as to say that drivers should not only try to avoid singing while driving, they should avoid even listening to music when driving...especially when the driving demand is high, like when it is raining and snowing and stuff. I call bullshit. I am willing to place a bet that this study was funded by an insurance company looking for another way to raise your rates. Have a radio in your car? Oh, that'll be more money. Do you sing when you drive? Oh that'll be more money. Do you think about singing when you drive? That'll be more money. I say sing as loud as you want in the car when you drive. Enough with these people and their forceful World Pussification. Next thing you know we'll all have to wear racing helmets and suits when we drive....or it'll be more money for insurance.
Balls.
