Snickers' Journey: The Emails: Pt 4

Posted By: Kristy Knight · 4/27/2012 8:00:00 AM

Thank you for your time this week!

We've been sharing the story of my adopted dog Snickers.  If you haven't been following along...go to The KK Blog archives.

Good news!

Snickers' previous family will reunite with him this weekend!

Hellz no!  They are not taking him back!!!!

I'm excited.  They are excited!

Snickers?  Well...even if he could understand he wouldn't understand!  He's dumb!

But..he never forgets a face and a cuddle!

Here is part 4 of our emails!

Hey Kristy,
This weekend will be good in the morning.

I haven't mentioned anything to the kids because I wanna see their faces when I show them the pictures you sent.

Posting in your blog will let people know (inspire) no matter how difficult their decision is at that time, its best to do what right for the pet...
Gary

I responded....

Saturday and Sunday look to be sunny and warm.  Let me know which day and what time is good for you.  My weekend is free!

 I can’t wait!

 Thanks Gary!

He responded...

Sunday will be fine.

I'm super excited. Please don't think I'm a wimp if I get teary eyed lol.

So...that's it!

We will meet with dear sweet Gary and his kids this weekend!

I hope Snickers behaves himself!

We hope to get everything on camera!  Watch next week for footage.

Thank you for following this story.

It's important.

It's important to know....if you have to surrender your pet....chances are good that  they will be loved and taken care of  in a new home.

If you adopt...please know....

It's one of the most satisfying experiences you will ever have.

it seems these animals know they got a second chance.

Your new best friend could be waiting for you right now.

Thank you for caring.

God bless.

KK

I was finally able to sit down and read all your blogs about Snickers, such an awesome story! He is very lucky to have two family's that love him so much. I've had one dog in my life (was never a dog person but he was bought for me). He turned out to be my best friend! I had him for 13yrs and even though he has been gone for over 5 years now I still talk about him and even shed a tear as I miss him. Will be thinking of you guys today and hope you all have a great time! xo
