Motley Crue played Toronto this week in what I think was their best concert since their hey-day. One of the many highlights was when Motley practically blew up the stage during their final song, Kickstart My Heart. Fantastic and over-the-top as it was, I couldn't help but think about how similar that song was to another guitar rock classic..

On this edition of Dick Stole My Lick, where we highlight borrowed riffs, we put Mick Mars of Motley Crue up against Ronnie Montrose.

Montrose's debut album came out in '73 - Motley Crue released Dr. Feelgood 16 years later.

We can't help but think that Mick ripped Ronnie's lick.
