“This is your fault, so thank you” ... that’s my favourite part. With lead singer Hugh Dillon having wrapped up work on FLASHPOINT for good, I guess there’s now time to do a new Headstones album. We can’t tell you how psyched we are about this news.

This time around though they’re doing it in a different way by asking fans to help pay for the new album. Most bands don’t have the benefit of a record company to front or pay for recording an album, even The Headstones, so now they’re going to the fans for contributions. THE TEA PARTY did this recently and raised enough cash to pay to record a CD and DVD Australia 2012: The Double Live album. Nobody EVER thought it would come to this but there is an upside, especially with what the Headstones are offering. Depending how much you pledge, you get more than just the upcoming album but access to studio outtakes to signed to swag to the chance to take the band out to dinner to having them play a houseparty for you! Think of it like you would having the boys over for a UFC pay-per-view where everybody pays in.

This is for, the die hard fan who has been screaming for The Headstones to reunite and record a new album. The only difference is that they’re asking for your money up-front.
