The Trews On The Power of Positive Drinking

Those road dogs, The Trews are putting the wraps on a long tour that has had them criss-cross the continent and fly down under. They're finishing the year off with a couple of shows at the Molson Canadian Studio at Hamilton Place on the December 13th & 14th.

We got Colin McDonald on the horn to talk about their new Ep ...thank and I'm sorry... which was recorded in 4 days with Gordie Johnson behind and guest muscians which include members of The Black Crowes & The Faces. Check out the interview in the player over there on the right, just under the picture.

One of the highlights of the Ep is a song called "...and we are The Trews", a road song if there ever was one...and  a tribute to all the Canadian bands that they think are cool. In my interview he gets into the story behind this song.  In the song itself, the litany of Canadian artists starts at about the 3 minute mark. Check the list is at the bottom of this page to see how you did.
