97.7 HTZ-FM is looking for a few good men and women to represent Southern Ontario's Best Rock on the streets, at the biggest concerts, events and festivals taking place in Southern Ontario.

Do you eat, sleep and breathe rock? Can you steal the spotlight at an event, fire up a crowd on stage & work with a group in a fun environment? - If you answered yes to all of these questions then we want you!

Join the HTZ-FM Intern Army. By becoming part of the HTZ-FM Team with Astral Radio Niagara, not only will you gain the experience of working in the radio industry through promotions and marketing hands on, but you'll also have the chance to experience a part of our rock n' roll lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent our radio station at events throughout the community; interact with listeners, clients and colleagues.
  • Display set-up: banners, backdrops, on-site music system & cruiser.
  • Maximize stations' on-site presence.
  • Upkeep of vehicles, loading and unloading samples & equipment.
  • Provide event feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skill requirements:

  • Currently enrolled or completed post-secondary education within Broadcasting Program
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, energetic and positive customer service approach
  • Ability to problem solve, work well as a team member and take initiatives
  • Must be reliable, punctual and hard working
  • Possess the maturity to work without supervision in an independent setting
  • Must have a flexible schedule (available to work evenings, weekends & holidays)
  • HIGH ENERGY and extremely outgoing
  • Ability to do some heavy lifting, lugging, dragging, stuffing, hanging and getting dirty
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License (G) is a must
