Willie Colón/Hector Lavoe - Asalto Navideño
A groundbreaking early-'70s recording, Asalto Navideño was a Christmas album, and Christmas is the time when the old jibaro mountain sound comes briefly into its own. Colon hired cuatro player Yomo Toro and gave him a leading role, launching him on a new career.
