-Niagara's first Prescription Drug Drop Off Day  is set for Sat. May 12th at various locations across the region.

Health officials along with police will give residents the opportunity to get rid of old, unwanted prescription drugs in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

The drug drop offs also help ensure that old scrips don't get into the wrong hands and end up being sold on the street.

The drug drop offs run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the following locations:
