Finding a cure for CF means everything for Beamsville family

For a busy Beamsville family of five today is a day to focus on fighting Cystic Fibrosis.

5 year old Katie Dow has CF, the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults.
Today, the Great Strides Walk will take over Safari Niagara in Fort Erie raising money to find a cure.
One in every 3,600 children born in Canada has cystic fibrosis.

Katie's father, Todd Dow tells 610 CKTB News events like the Great Strides Walk gives his family hope that a cure will be found before his daughter needs it.
