Niagara West-Glanbrook MPP Tim Hudak has officially tabled a petition in support of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital rebuild project.
Hudak says he is deeply honoured to be a part of a team that delivered the voices of over 12 thousand West Niagara residents to Queen's Park.
He was joined by Grimsby mayor Bob Bentley, West Lincoln mayor Doug Joyner and Lincoln mayor Bill Hodgson, along with fellow municipal leaders from Niagara.
This was phase two of the " Make A Difference" campaign that saw volunteers canvass neighbourhoods, stand outside grocery stores and attend community events in an effort to collect signatures.
Over 12 thousand signatures have been collected since the campaign kick-off rally on May 2.
Ten thousand West Niagara residents rallied together to save the WLMH rebuild project.
Today’s petition was introduced as part of ongoing activities related to Niagara Week at Queen’s Park that wraps up on Wednesday May 30.
