Trauma surgeon wanted in Buffalo hospital shooting
In Buffalo, a prominent trauma surgeon is wanted in a fatal shooting at a city hospital.
Shots rang out at the Erie County Medical Centre around 8:15am Wednesday. When the gunfire stopped, 1 woman who works at the hospital lay dead. Police say the 33-year-old was targeted.
ECMC was put on lockdown as SWAT teams searched for Dr Timothy Jorden Jr. Local schools were blocked off too. The lockdowns were lifted around noon.
Jorden is an Army Captain & in 1996 told the Buffalo News his wife was from Toronto. The paper also reports he'd recently been dealing with "emotional problems".
