Police confirming a  body found near the home of a Buffalo trauma surgeon  is Doctor Timothy Jorden

A nation wide manhunt was launched for Jorden after a 33 year old woman was gunned down in a stairwell of Erie County Medical Centre on Wednesday.

His body was found this morning in a wooded area near his home along 18 mile creek.

Police say it appears he died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.
