Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the 7-11 on Hartzel Road.

It was just after five in the morning Thursday (June 28) when the suspect entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

The victim obliged and the would be robber took off on foot heading east on Burness Drive.

Cops brought in the canine unit to sniff him out but lost the trail somewhere on Burness near Ferndale Avenue where they think he got in a car or on a bike.

The clerk was not harmed in this incident.

NRP are looking for a man in his late 20's, around feet nine inches tall with a thin build.

He has short dark hair and dark facial hair and was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap.

This incident remains under investigation and police are urging people with information to call them or Crime Stoppers.
