An unidentified worker has been hurt on the job in Welland.

Police tells us a worker at Canada Forgings was hit by a hammer drill and suffered a broken collar bone this morning. 

He was taken to Welland County General Hospital. 

No word yet on his condition.

The Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate.
