Niagara Regional Police are looking for two men who may have assaulted a West Lincoln man.

Police were called on Friday to the area of Jane Street and Lindan Street after a man reported he had been assaulted by two men on Thursday evening.

Cops say the pair of male suspects were in the area in a dark coloured mini van and allegedly assaulted the man.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Catharines General and treated for non life threatening injuries.

NRP say the assault doesn't appear to be a random act of violence.

One of the men is described as five feet nine inches and weighs around 180 pounds.

He has short brown hair and was wearing a dark jacket and jeans.

The other is six feet tall with a muscular build.

He has short brown hair, with a beard and is wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
