A local kids soccer league has had to delay the start of its season because nobody is stepping up to the plate to coach.
This is the first time in the Club Roma Minor League history where they have had to push back the start of the season.
League Administrator Stephanie Reid says they have been short coaches before but people have always come forward by now.
This will affect the soccer starter division that has 22 teams, as well as the 11 to 13 division that has roughly 72 kids.
Reid added that this isn't the only league in St. Catharines having a hard time finding coaches.
