Niagara Regional Police have made an arrest in a 1995 sexual assault of an elderly lady.
Forty two year old Ross James Storrie of Niagara Falls was arrested on Friday May 18th, the start of the Victoria Day long weekend.
Storrie allegedly viciously sexually assaulted a 77 year old widow at knife point, after he slipped into her Level Avenue home in the Falls.
Physical evidence from a crime scene at FMC Marine in Grimsby in 2011 has linked him to both offences.
Storrie has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, as well as break and enter and theft over five thousand dollars in the Grimsby investigation.
He appeared in court for a bail hearing today and was remanded in custody to appear via video on May 29, 2012.
