The drive through Grimsby got ugly Tuesday morning.

Toronto-bound lanes of the highway were closed between Casablanca Blvd & Fifty Rd. just before 4am after a rollover.

The driver was temporarily trapped & was rushed to Hamilton hospital with life threatening injuries.  He's expected to survive.

The stretch from Casablanca to Fifty was re-opened a little after 7:30am
