The provincial government is bringing in rules to limit class sizes.
Full-day kindergarten classes with 2 instructors would have an average of 26 students.
It would cap classes from Jr. kindergarten-Grade 3 at 23 kids, with 90% of classes at 20 or fewer.
Classes in grades 4-8 would have an average of 25 students, 22 students for high school classes.
The government says the move will improve learning for students & preserve teacher jobs.
