Thousands of cyclists in Niagara Sunday

Close to 5-thousand cancer survivors and supporters will cycle into Niagara today in the 5th annual Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.

Today's route has cyclists heading through Grimbsy between 7a-2p.

In Lincoln on Mountain Rd and Maple Street from 8a- 4p

In Pelham on 16th Road and Grassy Roots Rd between 8:15am - 4:30

In Niagara Falls on Bigger Rd and the Niagara Parkway between 9:15am - 6:00pm

The ride has raised 18-million dollars.

In 2012, 86,400 new cases of cancer were diagnosed and 75, 700 deaths will be attributed to cancer in Canada.

Funds raised from the Ride to Conquer Cancer are immediately put to use funding cancer research, treatment & care at The Campbell Family Cancer Research Institute at The Princess Margaret Hospital.
