The Niagara Falls International Marathon announced the hiring of Niagara Falls resident Rick Morocco as their new Managing Director.

Rick Morocco replaces long time NFIM race director Jim Ralston as the organization's new Managing Director. 

Rick will be responsible for the day to day operations of the event as well as facilitating the organization's mandate of supporting physical activity through the sport of running throughout the Niagara region.

The Niagara Falls International Marathon will take place over the weekend of October 19th to October 21st along the historic and scenic Niagara River Parkway finishing at the Brink of the "Falls".

The event includes 5k and 10k races, a Half-Marathon, a Marathon Relay and Full Marathon hosted by the Niagara Parks Commission, all taking place on October 21st.
