Girl says she was sexually assaulted at Port Colborne park

Police are looking for a suspect after a girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man at a park in Port Colborne.

Officers were notified of the incident Friday.

Police say on Thursday at about 12:00 a young girl as at HH Knoll Park with her mother and two other siblings.

The girl says she was sexually assaulted by an unknown older man in the playground area.

The man followed the victim about the park prior to riding away on his bicycle.

He is described as white in his 60's, with a skinny muscular build, with short grey hair, bald on the top wearing a white T shirt and beige pants.

The bicycle is a blue "cruiser" style with black wheels, fenders and a basket attached to the front.
