The results are in of a recent health care survey commissioned by Welland MPP Cindy Forster.
The data was compiled and analyzed by Welland based Latis Research Consultants.
In all, Forster's office sent out 49 thousand surveys to homes within the riding asking for feedback on the Niagara Health System and its direction for the future.
Two of the main sticking points or issues were wait times and access to care in general.
Forty per cent of the respondents said they would prefer to see the Welland hospital site redeveloped into the new South Niagara hospital.
Forster will be sharing the results with NHS Supervisor Dr. Kevin Smith who will take the results to the Ministry of Health.
