OPP will be out in full force on the last long weekend of the summer.
On the highways, cops are keeping an eye out for drunk, distracted & aggressive drivers. They'll also be checking that everyone is buckled up.
OPP Commissioner Chris Lewis says 2012 has been a bad year so far for deaths on Ontario's roads & highways. There've been over 230 deaths on OPP-patrolled roads so far this year, compared to 195 during the same period last year.
Over the Labour Day weekend, police will also be patrolling Ontario waterways, checking for lifejackets & looking for drunk boaters.
