CAW staying mum on which of the big three could end up a strike target

9/5/2012

The Canadian Auto Workers Union says for this round of
negotiations with the Big 3 automakers it's not immediately
announcing a target company with the goal of moving negotiations
along with all three.

But the CAW says General Motors, Chrysler and
Ford have demonstrated that they aren't serious about reaching an
agreement and want to cut costs from existing agreements.

Hourly workers at Chrysler, Ford and GM plants in Canada including St. Catharines have
voted overwhelmingly to go on strike to back their contract demands.
