
In Montreal, police sources have revealed the name of the gunman who opened fire at the Parti Quebecois election victory party Tuesday night.
The source says the 62-year-old suspect is Richard Henry Bain, who runs a hunting and fishing lodge north of Montreal.
Bain was arrested moments after the shooting that left one person dead and another seriously injured. As he was being led to a police cruiser, he shouted, 'the English are waking up"
The police source has also identifies the victim as 48-year-old Denis Blanchette. There are unconfirmed reports the man was the sound technician for the Metropolis club where the party was taking place.
The second victim hasn't been identified and remains in hospital.
