Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning of the possibility of heavy downpours in our area.

The weather office says a low pressure system is heading our way from the U-S midwest and could bring anywhere between 20 and 50 millimeters of rain to Southern Ontario by tomorrow evening.

The system will move towards the Great Lakes today then intensify as it moves across
Southern Ontario into Quebec tomorrow.
