Police in Niagara have wrapped up a two night road safety campaign.

Over the course of the two night campaign police laid 53 charges for a variety of driving and equipment infractions.

They also arrested one driver for impaired and issued two three day suspensions for driving with a blood alcohol level over 50 mg.

In addition, two St. Catharines men are facing charges of flight from police.

The pair attempted to elude a RIDE spot check while riding in a stolen car.
