Police have nabbed two suspects in a shoplifting spree.

Cops say they began watching a man and woman yesterday afternoon , both known to police, in the area of the Fairview Mall.

The male went into Winner's, Food Basics and Zehr's where he allegedly stole items.

Police say he would return each time to the woman who was waiting behind EB Games on Geneva Street. 

She is accused of taking the stolen items and stuffing them into a duffle bag.

Police moved in arrestesting 31 year old Amanda Morrell.

The male suspect tried to flee but after a short footchase, police arrested 34 year old Mark Densmore of St. Catharines.

Both are facing several counts of theft under five thousand dollars.
