Niagara Regional Police believe they've solved a number of break and enters in Niagara on the Lake.

Police says the break ins began earlier this month and targeted unlocked homes and vehicles, and also included breaking into people's home while they were sleeping.

After an early morning break in on Monday, and brief chase, police arrested 19-year old Joseph Rogerson. 

Rogerson was already wanted by police and will appear in court tomorrow (Tuesday).

Police add a number of stolen items have already been returned to their owners.
