On the first "McGuinty Monday", the premier repeated his call for teachers to leave kids out of it.

That term was coined by the province's elementary teachers union, who is asking their teachers not to take part in any board meetings or anything outside of their classroom duties on Monday's.

Dalton McGuinty made the comment as school after school in the province is seeing extra curricular activities cancelled as teachers refuse to volunteer their time.

This all comes from public teachers' anger over a legislated contract, with unions calling for fair negotiations.
