Ontario's party leaders say they're concerned by allegations that organized crime has infiltrated
Ontario at least as much as it has in Quebec, if not more.
Former R-C-M-P chief superintendent Ben Soave told a French television network that Ontario
has the same organized crime groups involved in corruption, and they are probably even more
active than in Quebec.
Premier McGuinty says if there is evidence organized crime has a firm grip in Ontario's politics
and economy he wants to see it.
Opposition Leader Tim Hudak says he's never seen anything like that among his political
colleagues in the legislature and N-D-P Leader Andrea Horwath said she was troubled by
Soave's comments.
