The Niagara Parks Commission is inviting residents to an information session on a plan to put in a zip line attraction at one of two potential sites.
The NPC is looking at putting in a zipl line either at Dufferin Islands or Thompson Point.
A zip line consists of a cable mounted along an incline and riders travel its length attached to a pulley.
In a media release, the Parks Commission says zip lines are one of the fastest growing segments of the tourism industry and are a key component in the growth of eco tourism.
There are two public information sessions, both scheduled to be held at Legends golf course, the first goes September 26th from 6:30 to 8:30 and the second will be held the next day from 2 to 4 pm.
