The health hazard alert about ground beef products from X-L Foods of Alberta is being expanded even further.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is now saying Co-op stores in Ontario, Alberta, B-C, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon and the Northwest Territories also sold the product.
The meat was also sold in Presto and Club Entrepot stores in Quebec.
The warning about the beef is due to concerns about possible E. coli contamination.
