Gay community in Toronto calling for their own school
There are calls in Toronto's gay community for a high school that caters to gay teenagers.
The organizer of a community forum taking place tonight says he's been working with the Toronto District School Board to gain support for the project.
Twenty-year-old Fan Wu, who was also a student trustee, says such a school would provide an education of gay-centric subjects such as gender and sexual diversity.
But critics say a gay-centric school would only segregate students.
