A transport truck barrelled into a house late last night in Port Colborne after swerving to avoid a collision with a mini-van.

Police say it happened around 8:45 p.m at the intersection of Main Street West and Steel Street, the occupants of the house were not home at the time of the collision. 

The female driver of the mini van and the male driver of the truck were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. 

Both the truck and the mini van sustained extensive damage.
