IceDogs now 3-0 after Friday night's win

The Niagara IceDogs defeated the Ottawa 67's 4-2 in Ottawa Friday night, moving their record to 3-0.
The first period saw the teams scoreless for the majority of the period, until Ottawa scored with just under three minutes left.
Another Ottawa goal came in the second period.
Niagara's Ryan Strome put one home 14:05 into the second to cut the deficit to 2-1.
Shayne Rover would then fire home a point shot two minutes later.
The third period would see the IceDogs take their first lead of the game as Brett Ritchie continued his strong play, scoring unassisted to make it 3-2 12:22 into the period.
Strome would add an empty net goal in the final minute to make it a 4-2 final in favour of the IceDogs.
Final shots in the game were 34-22 for Niagara, as Festarini stopped 20 shots for his third win of the season.
The IceDogs will now head to Kingston to take on the Frontenacs Sunday afternoon, before returning home Thursday, October 4th to host the Mississauga Steelheads at 7pm.
