A MRSA outbreak at the Welland General Hospital has been declared over.

The outbreak was declared on September 13th when seven cases of the bug were reported on the 4th floor surgical unit of the hospital. 

MRSA is a bacteria that lives on the skin and mucous membranes of healthy people and is often antibiotic resistant.
