Battle of Queenston Heights anniversary marked today in Niagara

Today marks the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Queenston Heights.
Ceremonies get under way at 9 o'clock with a mass army marching along the Niagara River Recreation Trail from Fort George to Queenston Heights.
The battle in the war will be retold through re-enactment, ceremonies and story tellers.
There will also be historic merchants on hand offering unique goods for sale.
Seating is limited so bring a lawn chair or blanket.
The day will end with fireworks highlighting the General Issac Brock monument at 7:15.
The cost to park at Queenston Heights is five dollars but the Niagara Parks will also be offering shuttle service on their new WEGO buses.
