Three men were sent to hospital after a two vehicle crash on Bunting Road in St. Catharines.
Police say a Chevy Cavalier driven by a 55 year old Thorold man went out of control on Bunting near Welland Avenue late yesterday afternoon, crossing the centre line into oncoming traffic.
The vehicle careened off the road into a plaza parking lot where it struck a parked Honda Civic with a 67 year old man inside.
The impact sent the Honda spinning towards the plaza.
The Cavalier continued back onto the road where it finally came to a stop after hitting a traffic light signal pole.
The 55 year old Thorold driver was airlifted to Hamilton General in serious condition.
A 29 year old passenger received minor injuries.
The 67 year old occupant of the Honda was taken to St Catharines General with serious injuries.
No word yet on any charges.
