Police officers from the P.A.V.I.S unit uncovered almost 23 thousand dollars in heroine following a search of a St. Catharines residence.

At eleven o'clock last night, police executed a search warrant that also uncovered prescription drugs and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Cops have charged 32 year old Scott Keracher of St. Catharines and 23 year old Felicia Gaigneur of St. Catharines.

They are facing many similar charges that include possession of heroin, trafficking, possession of hydromorphone and proceeds of crime.
